BUSTA RHYMES – LOST 100 POUNDS

Trevor George Smith Jr., better known by his stage name Busta Rhymes, is a rapper, musician, record producer, actor, and record executive.  For his work, he has earned 11 Grammy Award nominations.

2020 was all about Rhymes regaining control of his health. He learned he needed emergency surgery in early 2019 when a doctor found polyps in his throat that were blocking a certain degree of his breathing. That’s when he knew he wanted to make some changes in his life. Dexter Jackson, a talented bodybuilder, tagged Rhymes in an Instagram post shortly after, prompting the rapper to reach out. He packed his belongings and moved to Jacksonville, Florida, less than a month later to begin the 30-day training with Jackson. On Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, he practiced three times a day, and on Tuesdays and Saturdays, he trained twice a day. Rhymes now weighs 254 pounds and is sleeping and moving more freely. He’s also holding his weight in check by concentrating on balanced food, saying he eats oatmeal and eggs for breakfast, a salad for lunch, and fish or steak with vegetables for dinner.
