During this time, Delon was a contestant collaborator of the industry’s top directors. After six Hollywood films, Delon returned to France to make The Last Adventure opposite Lino Ventura.

It was one of Delon’s most popular films of the 1960s.More popular at the French box office was Farewell Friend(Adieu I’ami), in which Delon and Charles Bronson played former legionnaires who get involved in the robbery. With his great money management skills, he knew that his bankroll from acting may not sustain his steady need for funds.
