EILEEN ATKINS
Dame Eileen June Atkins is also a legend in the entertainment landscape, and she got all the awards to back this claim up. She’s a top contributor in theater arts as well as acting in both film and television shows. However, her career is not always rainbows and butterflies. In fact, Atkins and her family almost fell into bankruptcy during the late 90s, but she managed to hang on and bounce back from the predicament.
Up until this date, she’s still active in the industry, and she’s not showing any signs of giving up her passion in life, which is acting. In 2008, she won the BAFTA TV Award for Best Actress and the Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Miniseries or Movies foe Cranford. She has also won three Olivier Awards, including Best Supporting Performance in 1988 and Best Actress Award for The Unexpected Man and Honor.
