DAWN WELLS
The American actress Dawn Wells became the public’s favorite stars of the ’60s thanks to her role as Mary Ann Summers in the hit sitcom Gilligan’s Island. She’s a well-rounded actress, and her degree in theater arts and design helped her to become successful in the industry. Wells also boasts a beauty that was on par with some of the best in the industry. She used that to her advantage and competed for the Miss Nevada crown and eventually represented the state in the 1960 Miss America pageant in New Jersey.
Even to this date, she still has all of these traits and is still active in the industry. In 2014, Wells released What Would Mary Ann Do? A guide to life, she co-authored with Steve Stinson. The book was published on the 50th anniversary of Gilligan’s Island. In May 2016, Wells was appointed as the Marketing Ambassador to MeTV. In January 2019, she promoted the Gilligan’s Island TV series on the MeTV network.
