JULIE CHRISTIE

The British actress Julie Christie made her way towards the mainstream Hollywood scenes during the ’60s and was one of the leading icons of the group that started the “Swinging London Era.” She has won an Oscar, a Golden Globe, a BAFTA Award and a Screen Actors Guild Award. She has appeared in six films which have been selected by the British Film Institute’s as one of the top 100 British films in the 20th century, and won the BAFTA Fellowship in 1997.

What’s impressive is that Christie managed to include herself in some of the greatest films in 20th century British History. In fact, six of her movies are part of the British Film Institute’s Top 100 movie list. Her success in the industry translated to the amount of money she got, and she made the most out of it with her excellent money management. We last saw her work as the narrator of the 2018 film The Bookshop.
