James Leland Walter Jr., commonly known as James Walters, has left dents in the world of entertainment, mainly in acting and music. As a kid, the young Walters got his first guitar at the age of 12 and started playing in a band the following year. Walters has been intimate with his guitar ever since. It was his way of articulating experiences and turn them into something useful. He also noted that his intimacy with music is greater compared to acting, as he once said back in 1994.

Walters’ first taste of fame started when he starred in a Levi’s 501 TV commercial. After that, he co-starred with Travolta in Snout. These appearances eventually got him a high degree of attention when he played Ray Pruit in the TV Series Beverly Hills, 90210. Things somehow took a turn for Walters when he pursued his childhood dream of being a firefighter. In an interview with Entertainment, he said, “I was in my late 20s, and I decided I really wanted to start a family and do some other things with my life. I started testing for the fire department.”
