Lee Meriwether made a name for herself as one of the top models and actresses of her generation. She pretty much enjoyed and built up a huge reputation in the entertainment scenes as well as a very solid credit score throughout her lifetime. She entered the entertainment scenes after she was crowned Miss America in 1955 and slowly made her way towards the mainstream film and television scenes.

She is known for her role as Betty Jones, Buddy Ebsen’s secretary and daughter-in-law of the 1970s crime drama Barnaby Jones. This role earned her two Golden Globe Award nominations in 1975 and 1976, and an Emmy Award nomination in 1977. She’s currently in her mid-80s, but we can still clearly see the traces of her past glory. Meriwether still has that look that sets her apart from the rest of her peers, even at that age.
