The famous actor Sam Elliott is one of the most well-decorated actors of his time. His acting prowess along with his signature mustache and deep voice was known throughout Hollywood especially during the height of western-inspired films of the ’60s and ’70s.He has won a number of honors, including a National Board of Review Award, and has been nominated for an Academy Award, two Golden Globe Award, two Prime time Emmy Awards and two Screen Actors Guild Awards.

His role in the 1976 film Lifeguard gave him his ticket to stardom and became his breakthrough role. He followed it through with a couple of films that ignited his engine and pushed him further to the top of Hollywood rankings.
