Aside from being an actor, Don Johnson is also a producer, director, singer, and songwriter. He came to prominence when he played the role of James “Sonny Crocket” in the 1980s television series Miami Vice, for which he won a Golden Globe award for. His part of the cop series Nash Bridges which allowed him to maintain his celebrity status in the 1990s. Since then, Johnson never ran out of work. He is still active in the industry until today, doing the thing he loves – acting.

Johnson has a new television series coming up and is also a part of HBO’s Watchmen. Hence, he can continue to pay his mortgages to avoid losing one of his homes again, according to some reports. In the fall of 2005, Johnson briefly appeared in The WB courtroom TV drama show Just Legal. In January 2007, Johnson started a production of Guys and Dolls called Nathan Detroit in the West End of London.
