Anthea Kimberly “Kym” Karath is an American actress known for her role as Gretl, the youngest of the Von Trapp children in The Sound of Music. She became one of the most famous actresses at one point, thanks to her part in the classic film The Sound of Music as Gretl Von Trapp. However, her career as an actress didn’t fly as most fans hoped for. Karath only appeared in a couple of films later down the line, but she’ll always be remembered for her sweet tunes and cute scenes.

Her career as a model and her decision to move into France might have something to do with how her acting career went, but the trade-off for that move was that she was able to get a degree.
