ELLE MACPHERSON – BORN 1964

Eleanor Nancy Macpherson, or better known as Elle, is a model, businesswoman, TV host, and actress. She started to be recognized when she appeared on the cover of the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue for a record of five times. This feat, which began in the 1980s, earned her the name of The Body, coined by Time in 1989.

From one gig to another, Macpherson tried her luck in the business and made her major investments in a series of business ventures. She is the founder, primary model, and creative director of her own lingerie line, Elle Macpherson Intimates, and a line of skincare products called The Body. As a TV personality, she used to be the host and executive producer of Britain and Ireland’s Next Top Model for three years – from 2010 to 2013 – and several other TV shows and movies.
