Russ Tamblyn started his acting journey at a very young age. He was also well-versed in gymnastics back in the days that gave him an edge when it comes to playing some action-filled roles. Tamblyn first attempted to dominate the theater scenes, and he made it look so easy as he starred in a couple of famous stage plays during the late ’50s.He began his career as a child actor in Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer. Tamblyn appeared in the musical Seven Brides for Seven Brothers.

He then played Norman Page in the play Peyton Place and was nominated for Best Supporting Actor. He slowly made his way towards the mainstream media and got the break that he has been waiting for in the film Peyton Place. It was later followed by his part in the West Side Story and a couple of soap operas. He truly deserves all the credits that he got with all the talent that he got in his sleeves.
