JOAN PLOWRIGHT | 90, NET WORTH UNDISCLOSED

Dame Joan Plowright was one of England’s top artists of the past decades who made a name for herself in the international acting scenes with her raw talent and undeniable charisma. She got a pair of Golden Globes in her credit and a Tony Award for her solid performance on-stage. On top of that, Plowright also got a couple of award nominations under her name and that would pretty much give us the bigger picture on what she got on her sleeves.

Plowright was appointed a Commander of the Order of the British Empire (CBE) in the New Year Honors in 1970 and was promoted to Dame Commander (DBE) in the New Year Honors in 2004.In 2014, she officially announced her retirement from acting because she was completely blind. We last saw her on-screen with the documentary Nothing Like a Dame, where she and other fellow Dames exchange thoughts about their journey in their respective industries and the influences they had in England’s performing arts.
