Best known for portraying the role of Chuck Sherman in the American Pie film franchise, Chris Owen began acting at the age of 10. His first film credit was in Le peloton d’execution in 1991, a French-Canadian movie. Since then, Owen appeared in several films in the ‘90s, such as Black Sheep, Major Payne, She’s All That, Can’t Hardly Wait, October Sky, and Angus. In 1999, the actor starred in the hit comedy American Pie and reprised his role as Chuck Sherman in the following sequels of the movie. Owen also appeared in the television shows like Monk, The Mentalist, and 7th Heaven.

In a New York Daily News article in 2014, it was reported that the American Pie star was working as a waiter in Santa Monica, California, at a sushi restaurant. Following the published article, Owen appeared in two films and a role in the television crime drama Criminal Minds. His last movie was in 2018, The Last Sharknado: It’s About Time. Today, Owen is reportedly working as a photographer.
