Jeffrey Allen “Skunk” Baxter | National Security Expert

In an artist’s lifetime, having eight platinum records and two Grammy’s credited to your artistry is perhaps the magnum opus of your career. Also, add being a founding member of Steely Dan and producing records for the Beach Boys. Top the list off with helping Ringo Starr and Dolly Parton record their music. There is only one man who can do this: Jeffrey Allen “Skunk” Baxter.

During his college days, Baxter studied journalism at Boston University. He moved to New York and got a job in Manny’s Music Store, where he played side by side with Jimi Hendrix’s band Jimmy James and The Blue Flames. Aside from being a free-spirit guitarist, the “Skunk” has equally exceptional knowledge in national security—he can digest military technology and missile defense systems as if he’s reading a music sheet. He’s perhaps the only recording musician in the world who has clearance to enter the Pentagon.
