Nowadays, Lisa Jakub enjoys life away from the entertainment industry’s bright lights. While she is a licensed yoga teacher, Lisa has also dabbled in writing. She currently has two works to her credit: 2015’s You Look Like That Girl and 2017’s Not Just Me.

Perhaps a piece of information that most people don’t know about, however, would be Lisa’s prior career in the entertainment industry. In line with her first book, Lisa began as a child actress, debuting at seven years old in the 1985 film Eleni. Other movies she’s worked on soon after including Painted Angels, Matinee, Independence Day, and of course, Mrs. Doubtfire. With her last acting gigs being in 2000, Lisa has since admitted that she’s more than happy with where she is today and has no plans of returning to acting. Indeed, it’s interesting to see the lives of celebrities that transition to regular and standard livelihood-lead lifestyles.
