Kirk Cameron | Evangelist

Kirk Cameron’s fame was at its peak in the ’80s and ’90s. He rose to prominence when he played Mike Seaver in the show Growing Pains, for which he received nominations for Golden Globe Awards. He now enjoys a happy marriage with his Growing Pains co-star, Chelsea Noble, and the two now have six kids.

Cameron became a Christian when he was 17, and since then, he shifted his focus on his spiritual and personal growth to the degree that he pursued a career as an evangelist. He later founded The Firefly Foundation with his wife and launched an evangelical ministry named The Way of the Master. Since the Growing Pains’ actor mostly left mainstream television and film, Cameron received acting gigs in the Growing Pains reunion movies. He also starred in the 2008 drama independent movie, Fireproof, which also highlights a Christian theme.
