At the tender age of 5, Brittany Ashton Holmes became a household name across the globe after she appeared as Darla in the 1994 feature film The Little Rascals, which left an imprint in the audiences’ hearts and minds and gave her instant stardom and recognition. During interviews, the then five-year-old child actress’s strength of character emanated from the confidence she displayed. For the success of the film, she earned a Young Artist Award in the category of Best Performance by a Youth Ensemble in a Motion Picture.

In the following years after the film, Holmes appeared in other few television shows and commercials between the age of five and seven. Eventually, the child actress quit acting and went on to live a normal life, away from the limelight. In her adult life, it was reported that Holmes worked at Starbucks for some time. She attended high school in Southern California and is currently attending college to finish her political science degree.
