American actor, producer, composer, and film director Clint Eastwood rose to international fame after achieving success in the Western television series Rawhide. Throughout the ‘70s and ‘80s, he portrayed the antihero cop Harry Callahan in five Dirty Harry films and as the leading role in the Dollars Trilogy during the mid-‘60s as the “Man with no Name.” For his many performances in numerous films, it made him an enduring cultural icon of masculinity.
Throughout his career, Eastwood was credited with multiple awards and accolades, including four Academy Awards, AFI Life Achievement Award, three Cesar Awards, and four Golden Globe Awards. In 1967, the actor-director also founded a production company that produced four of his American films, the Malpaso Productions. Some of the films that Eastwood has directed include Mystic River, Letters from two Jima, Changeling, and American Sniper. On the other hand, before becoming a successful actor and director, during his young years, he worked several odd jobs, including being a forest firefighter.
