Just take a look at Lil’ Kim and her experience with hateful comments about her weight. It is no secret that the rapper has gained quite a few extra pounds over the years, and she has always been open about her fitness journey to lose some of it.

In fact, back in 2009, she was able to lose 20 pounds thanks to her appearance on Dancing with the Stars. Aside from rehearsals for their performance, Lil’ Kim also worked out with Jonas Serrano, her trainer, and also followed a healthier diet with the help of Freshology. While she isn’t back to her post-baby weight, it’s clear that her investments toward a better lifestyle are all paying off.
