Danny DeVito and Rhea Perlman

Although they never married because of the love they had for their careers, Danny DeVito and Rhea Perlman’s relationship is the perfect example of true love. First locking eyes in 1971 on the set of the film Shrinking Bride, DeVito and Perlman unknowingly sparked a fiery romance with each other. As if they’ve had already met before, the two were instant soulmates from the get-go, and soon enough, they started living with each other a few years later.

From their on-screen dynamic in Taxi to their romantic and friendly relationship off-camera, anyone who’s followed them can easily tell that these two are perfect for each other. What’s even more heartwarming was DeVito’s remark when asked what he can say about Perlman. He replied that he can never find another woman like her. It was the most adorable thing to say — and he deserves credit for having said it.
