James Belushi and Jennifer Sloan

James Belushi is a known comedian and personality who hosts TV shows. His union with his wife, Jennifer Sloan, proves that love doesn’t always hit the first time around, and that it is a slow and bumpy process that takes time, patience, and determination. They wed in 1998 and have two lovely children together. Things sadly went downhill in 2018 when Sloan’s attorney helped her file for separation in court, but Belushi was stubborn and countered with a petition for dismissal — luckily the court favored his side.

After the debacle, their relationship went private. They’ve surely reconciled, and the motives for Belushi’s actions are yet to be broadcasted. It’s certainly a personal matter, but it’s certainly believable that it was his love and devotion to his partner that pushed him to reject the divorce. This will certainly give others hope that relationships can be fought for and that people should not just give up easily.
