Mark and Marilou Hamill

Mark Hamill rose to international prominence when he commanded Luke Skywalker’s lightsaber in the classic science-fiction franchise, Star Wars. His performance in the films gained him an army of loyal fans that would follow his career until the 21st century. However, outside of his Jedi responsibilities, Hamill is just a regular guy looking for romance amid his rising fame. Love came his way in the form of Marilou York, and the two started seeing each other. Despite a brief hiccup in their relationship, the love they shared proved to be a force to be reckoned with. The couple eventually tied the knot in December of 1978 and have been together ever since.

Hamill and York share three children together. Their firstborn, Nathan, turned became an artist. Their second son, Griffin, became a martial arts teacher, and the youngest, Chelsea, is in public relations. The couple poured investments in their company Amazing Invisible Inc. where Chelsea works as well.
