ELIZABETH BANKS AND MAX HANDELMAN – 27 YEARS

The beautiful and talented Elizabeth Banks directed the 2019 remake of Charlie’s Angels. A known feminist, Banks freely displayed her beliefs and sent a strong message about women’s empowerment. The multi-talented actress, director, and producer won several awards throughout her acting career but she admits that she is most proud of her marriage with her husband, Max Handelman.

Banks and Handelman have been together for 27 years. The couple started dating when they were still getting their degree at the University of Pennsylvania in 1992. Initially, Handelman worked in the finance industry until Banks persuaded him to work in the entertainment industry. The couple has worked together on several projects. They co-produced Pitch Perfect and recently, Charlie’s Angels. As for Banks, she believes that marriage is a commitment that entails hard work. Likewise, giving up on it is not an option for her.
