He popularized the songs Under Pressure and Let’s Dance. Bowie bid farewell in 2016 as he succumbed to illness, leaving his wife of 24 years, Iman, in grief. Iman is a famous model and muse of many high-fashion brands. Like Bowie, she’s had a failed relationship before finding lasting marriage with Bowie.

Iman and David Bowie were a match made in heaven. The rock star and the model seem to compliment each other well despite their cultural differences. The couple credits their meet-up to the hairdresser, Teddy Antolin, who played their matchmaker. The couple met in 1992 at a party, and sparks flew. Since they laid eyes on each other, they knew that they were meant to be together. They wasted no time and eloped in April 1992. The couple has a daughter together who was born in 2000.
