He has been active for 3 decades and has garnered plenty of recognition.

As they’ve said, the third time’s a charm. It wasn’t love at first sight when the two met. They first met at Yale School of Drama where the actress was working to get her degree. Vance mused that he rarely remembers Basset from that time. A decade later they met again and went on a date. This time, Basset said it wasn’t a memorable one. It was actually supposed to end there. However, a second date did happen and that’s when the sparks flew, and the rest is history. They got married in 1997 and currently have twins.
