TOM SELLECK AND JILLIE MACK 

Since the early 1980s, Tom Selleck has been a staple on the celebrity scene, from his debut leading role on Magnum, P.I., to his position on The X-Files. Selleck has kept his wife, Jillie Mack, and their family out of the limelight for the most part, and it’s probably one of the reasons they’ve stayed together for so long.

They met in London in 1983 while Selleck was filming the jewel heist thriller, Lassiter. Mack captured Selleck’s attention at a performance of the musical Cats. Tom got so hooked with the show that he went back to watch it several times. Selleck eventually asked the dancing feline out to supper, and the two started dating. Mack relocated to the United States when her Cats contract expired to live with her new man. In 1987, Selleck surprised everyone when he revealed that they had married in a top-secret ceremony in Nevada. They live quietly in a 65-acre investment ranch in California, and they’ve made it a point to be open and reliable to one another throughout their relationship.
