Dana Hill – Diabetes
Dana Hill was one of the famous supporting actresses in the 80’s. She became famous when she portrayed Audrey Griswold in the 1985 American comedy National Lampoon’s European Vacation. She wasn’t just a talented actress though. She was also a world-class athlete when she was younger. As talented as she is, she has definitely received offers of scholarships from different schools.
This could have saved her from student loans, which would have been a good thing. However, her diagnosis of type 1 diabetes prevented her from pursuing her athletic career further. In 1996, the sickness caught up with her and she passed away due to complications.
