Teena Marie – Natural Causes

Teena Marie had one of the most distinct voices back in her active years. Sometimes called Lady Tee, she transformed the R&B and soul genre with her work that earned her the title Ivory Queen of Soul. She was one of the most talented musicians of her time, being able to play several instruments like the guitar, keyboard, and percussion.

While her future looked bright, she had a freak accident back in her hotel room in 2004. A large picture frame fell on her while she was sleeping. Insurance or not, the accident caused her to suffer seizures for the rest of her life. In 2010, she passed away due to natural causes.
