Gary Owens – Complications Due to Diabetes

Gary Owens’s greatest investment was perhaps his voice. He worked as an announcer for Antenna TV. However, his most famous appearance perhaps would be on Rowan & Martin’s Laugh-In, which featured Owens as the on-screen announcer. He also voiced the main character, Space Ghost on the TV series with the same name.

Unfortunately, he suffered greatly from type 1 diabetes and passed away at the age of 80. He had been fighting the disease since he was just eight years old.
