Gina Mastrogiacomo – Myocarditis

Gina Mastrogiacomo had a short stint in the film industry but it was one that won’t easily be forgotten. She passed away due to a rare inflammation of the heart muscle technically known as Myocarditis. This is a result of severe bacterial infection of a vital organ. She was just 39 years old when she passed away. This was very unfortunate as her career was looking promising when she fell ill.

She had remarkable film credits during her time, which includes the film Alien Terror. She even got to work with the renowned filmmaker Martin Scorsese in the film Goodfellas. Afterward, she appeared in a number of TV series until she fell ill and passed away.
