Pat Morita – Kidney Failure

Pat Morita will always be remembered as Mr. Miyagi in the famous film series The Karate Kid. This was his most notable role by far. He rose to international fame after appearing in this film. In fact, he received several credits from major award-giving bodies for his brilliant performance. He went on to play various roles in other films during his stint in Hollywood. His other noteworthy performances were Arnold Takahashi in Happy Days and the voice of Emperor of China in the 1995 animated film Mulan.

Sadly, he passed away due to kidney failure. He made a huge impact and is still remembered up to this day.
