Alexis Arquette – Cardiac Arrest
Alexis Arquette is considered an icon in the LGBT community. Arquette’s fame started when she was still very young. At the age of 12, she already appeared in a music video and she then went on to be a part of the 1986 film Down and Out in Beverly Hills.
When she reached the peak of her career, she decided to go under the knife for a gender reassignment surgery. The process of her transformation was publicized by her camp. The exposure actually landed her more projects. While well covered by medical insurance, this wasn’t enough to save her from a cardiac arrest which was a complication brought by HIV.
