Sunny Johnson – Burst Blood Vessel in Brain

Sunny Johnson only had a short stint in Hollywood but her stay was well-remembered. This was because of her brilliant performance as the figure skater Jeanie in the 1983 film Flashdance.

However, this was also her last movie credit before she passed away. Just a year after the film was released, reports say that Johnson was found unresponsive inside her home. While she was rushed to the hospital hoping to make it in time, she passed away because of a brain hemorrhage. Her death was announced to the public in June 1984.
