John Spencer – Heart Attack

John Spencer was a part of the famous television series The West Wing, playing the role of Leo McGarry the secretary of labor turned vice-president-elect on the show. His brilliant performance of the role earned him a Primetime Emmy.

Unfortunately, Spencer passed away a few days before his 59th birthday. Reports say that he suffered suddenly of a catastrophic heart attack, which ultimately led to his death. Since he was a big part of the success of the series The West Wing, his name remained in the credits until the final episode.
