Freddie Mercury – Pneumonia


Freddie Mercury had etched his name in music history. He is the famous frontman of the band, Queen. He wasn’t just the frontman, though. He was a genius singer-songwriter, whose music challenged boundaries and genres.

His creations broke records in the U.S. and British charts during the ’70s and ’80s. Did you know that he actually studied playing the piano in boarding school in India? Yes, this was before moving to London. Later on, he became friends with many musicians at London’s Earling College of Art. He passed away due to bronchial pneumonia back in November 1991. He was 45 at that time. He received many credits to his name.
