WILLIAM SHATNER | 89, $100 MILLION

Spending seven decades in the industry as a film and television actor is no easy feat, but William Shatner made it look like a walk in the park. Aside from acting, Shatner also showed flashes of his talent in other facets of show business, mainly working behind the scenes as a director and screenwriter. He has written a series of books about his experience as Captain Kirk, becoming part of Star Trek, and his life after Star Trek.

Shatner also co-authored several novels set in Star Trek universe and a series of science fiction novels named TekWar. For those who have been following his career, Shatner rose as a public figure thanks to his part in the Star Trek franchise as Captain James T. Kirk of the famed USS Enterprise. Interestingly enough, he showed tremendous money management skills after selling his kidney stones (yes, deposits found in our kidneys!) for a whopping 25 grand that went straight to a couple of charitable institutions.
