RITA COOLIDGE | 75, $6 MILLION

The singer and recording artist Rita Coolidge experienced her heyday during the ’70s and ’80s and became one of the leading icons of the music industry on a worldwide scale. In the 1970s and 1980s, her songs were on Billboard magazine’s pop, country, adult contemporary and jazz charts. Throughout her glorious singing career, she managed to grab a pair of Grammy Awards alongside her then-husband Kris Kristofferson.

Her records include “Higher and Higher”, “We’re All Alone” ,”I’d Rather Leave While I’m in Love” and the theme song of the 1983 James Bond movie Octopussy:” Always Time High”. In 2015, Coolidge was one of the inductees in the Southern Museum of Music Hall of Fame. She may have been retired from making timeless music for many years now, but her influence still has a strong foothold in our current era. She’s also spending most of her time alongside her newfound family and closest friends in her real estate investment in Tallahassee.
