The actress and author, Bern Nadette Stanis, became a prominent figure in the entertainment landscape thanks to her part as Thelma Ann Evans–Anderson in the Good Times during the height of the ’70s. She also appeared in a couple of popular television programs after the show ended that later contributed to her overall fame and fortune. Stanis is best known for her role as Thelma Evans on the CBS sitcom Good Times, the only daughter of Florida and James Evans Sr.

She is the author of four books: Situation 101: Relationships, The Good, The Bad & The Ugly; For Men Only; Situation 101: Finances; and The Last Night. Stanis showed tremendous success in her chosen field and never experienced any issues with her finances or even the immense need for any personal loans.
