Actress and rapper, Lil’ Kim, is one of the core members of Junior M.A.F.I.A. under Notorious B.I.G. whom she also had a relationship with. Notorious B.I.G. gets full credit for shaping the young rapper into who she is right now since he discovered her talents. Their first album, Conspiracy, received a lukewarm reception in the market though they reached the number 8 spot in the U.S Billboard Chart 200. Their album had three hit singles, namely, Get Money, Player’s Anthem, and I Need You Tonight.

Lil’ Kim’s solo album Hard Core received better reviews from the audience and critics alike. It was certified as double platinum too with up to 6 million albums sold. Her next two releases, The Notorious K.I.M and La Bella Mafia, were platinum albums too. She also sang with other artists like Pink, Mya, and Christina Aguilera in Lady Marmalade. Unfortunately, Lil’ Kim needs more help with handling her finances to avoid filing for bankruptcy in the future.
