You’re probably familiar with the name Jorge Garcia already as the actor appeared in the hit TV show Lost, which ran from 2004 to 2010. He portrayed the character of Hugo “Hurley” Reyes where he became a household name. The actor has received a degree in Communications from the University of California in Los Angeles before he started his acting career during the late 90s. Among his early projects were in TV shows like Raven’s Ridge, Columbo, Tomorrow By Midnight, and in Curb Your Enthusiasm.

It was his performance in Curb Your Enthusiasm that impressed the producers of Lost, hence they cast him on the show to much success. Of course, Garcia did not rest on his laurels after Lost because he worked on other projects like Fringe, How I Met Your Mother, Californication, Alcatraz, and Once Upon a Time. He has landed a recurring role in yet another hit show on TV which is Hawaii Five-O.
