When the film was released in 1986, it grossed more than $7 million in the United States.The famed filmmaker has numerous classics to his name, including Malcolm X, Jungle Fever, and Do the Right Thing. Spike’s 40 Acres and a Mule Filmworks has also produced over thirty-five of his movies since 1983, but early retirement isn’t in the cards for this talented artist.
