JUSTINE BATEMAN – BORN 1966

Justine Tanya Bateman is not just an actress — she is a writer, director, and producer. She has a great list of TV and movie projects, like Family TiesSatisfactionDesperate Housewives, and more. As a director, her first feature film is the 2006 movie, Violet, with Olivia Munn, Luke Bracey, and Justin Theroux. The 54-year-old star is also the mind behind the short film Five Minutes, which premiered at the prestigious Toronto International Film Festival in 2017.

With the many things she does in the entertainment business, Bateman eventually took a break. She put her investment money into good use during her hiatus and established a clothing design company in 2000. She managed the business for three years before its closure. In 2001, Bateman married Mark Fluent and had two children. Bateman is an outspoken supporter of network neutrality. In 2008, Bateman testified before the United States Senate Commerce Committee in support of network neutrality.
